ESSVE PH2 Screw 25 mm x 4.2 mm

The ESSVE PH2 screw, measuring 25 mm in length and 4.2 mm in diameter, is a professional-grade fastener engineered for robust assembly and construction applications. Constructed from durable steel with a galvanized coating, this screw provides excellent resistance to corrosion, making it suitable for both indoor and protected outdoor environments. The design features a specialized wafer head with an 11 mm diameter, which provides a large contact surface for secure fastening, and a drill point that facilitates efficient penetration into materials.

Advantages

This fastener offers superior holding power and reliability due to its high-quality steel construction and protective galvanized finish. The wafer head design ensures that the screw sits flush against the surface, providing a clean and professional finish while preventing the material from being over-tightened or damaged. The integrated drill point allows for faster installation by reducing the need for pre-drilling in many applications, thereby increasing productivity on the job site. Its precise dimensions and PH2 drive compatibility ensure consistent performance and ease of use with standard power tools.

Suitable for

• Attaching thin metal sheets to wood or metal frames
• General construction and renovation projects
• DIY furniture assembly and repair
• Installation of metal profiles and brackets

This screw may not be suitable for heavy-duty structural load-bearing applications where larger diameter fasteners are required. It is also not recommended for use in highly corrosive environments, such as coastal areas or direct exposure to harsh chemicals, without additional protective measures.

Key specifications

• Length: 25 mm
• Diameter: 4.2 mm
• Head shape: Wafer
• Head diameter: 11 mm
• Drive type: PH2
• Material: Steel
• Finish: Galvanized
• Point type: Drill point

How to use

To install the ESSVE PH2 screw, ensure you are using a compatible PH2 screwdriver bit. Position the screw perpendicular to the surface of the material. Apply steady pressure while operating the power tool at a controlled speed to allow the drill point to penetrate the material effectively. Drive the screw until the wafer head is flush with the surface, taking care not to overtighten, which could strip the material or the screw head.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the thickness of the materials being joined to ensure the 25 mm length is sufficient.
• Check the compatibility of the PH2 drive with your existing power tool bits.
• Assess the environmental conditions to ensure the galvanized finish meets your corrosion resistance requirements.

Usage recommendations: Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, when installing fasteners. Ensure the power tool is set to the correct torque setting to prevent damage to the screw head or the workpiece.
