Residual Current Circuit Breaker ETI EFI-P4 A 25/0.03 4-pole Type A 415V 25A Un-delayed 50/60Hz
ETI EFI-P4 A 25/0.03 is a 4-pole residual current circuit breaker (Type A) rated for 415 V and 25 A with a 30 mA residual current trip threshold. It is designed to detect alternating and pulsating direct leakage currents and to provide fast, instantaneous disconnection (un-delayed) at 50/60 Hz for protection of people and to reduce fire risk in residential, commercial and light industrial electrical installations.
The device offers sensitive 30 mA residual current detection and instantaneous trip action for rapid fault clearing. As a Type A unit it detects both AC and pulsating DC leakage currents. The 4-pole configuration supports three-phase systems up to 415 V, while the 25 A rating suits circuits with moderate load. Construction follows standard RCCB practice to provide reliable operation at 50/60 Hz.
This residual current circuit breaker is not intended for protection of circuits that require higher continuous current ratings than 25 A or for systems where delayed tripping is needed. It does not provide overcurrent protection beyond its rated current and therefore should be used together with appropriate circuit breakers or fuses for overload and short-circuit protection.
Install the ETI EFI-P4 A in the distribution board on a suitable DIN rail according to local electrical standards and wiring diagrams. Connect the three-phase conductors and neutral to the corresponding input and output terminals, ensuring proper tightening torque and correct orientation. Combine this residual current device with appropriate overcurrent protection upstream or downstream as required by the installation. Test the device after installation using the built-in test button or a suitable external tester to confirm operation.
For reliable protection, pair the ETI EFI-P4 A 25/0.03 with suitable upstream circuit breakers sized for short-circuit and overload protection, and perform periodic testing (monthly or as required by regulation) using the test function to ensure the residual current device operates correctly.
