The Eurolite UP-1 QCL Black is a compact LED uplight with a 15 W 4in1 QCL (quadcolor) LED offering red, green, blue and white for homogeneous color mixing. It features a tiltable head with selectable beam angles (9° or 15° via the included lens), integrated QuickDMX transceiver for wireless DMX512 reception, and multiple operating options: mains operation via the included power supply or rechargeable lithium-ion battery with up to 18 hours runtime. The unit supports DMX control, stand-alone use with Master/Slave, and can be controlled with the included EUROLITE IR-13 remote control.

How to use

Mount the uplight on a suitable surface or stand, set the desired tilt angle of the LED head manually, and choose the beam lens (9° or 15°) for the required spread. Connect to mains with the supplied power cord or run on the internal battery after charging. Select operation mode via the control panel, IR remote or a DMX controller; configure DMX address and channel mode on the 4-digit display. For wireless DMX, enable QuickDMX reception on the unit and ensure the transmitter is set correctly. Use Master/Slave for synchronized stand-alone operation or enable sound-control for automatic response to music.

Usage recommendations

For consistent color mixing and best results, allow the LED to warm up briefly before precise color-critical use; select the narrower lens for focused accents and the wider lens for broader wash. When using battery power for extended events, ensure the unit is fully charged and monitor the charging indicator; for continuous long-term installations prefer mains operation.
