EUROLITE LED IP PIX Strobe FROST 52200937 - IP65 outdoor LED strobe with frost effect
The EUROLITE LED IP PIX Strobe FROST is an IP65-rated outdoor LED strobe/blinder engineered for weather-resistant event and architectural lighting. It delivers pronounced strobe pulses with a built-in frost diffusion that softens and spreads the flashes for a gentler yet still impactful visual effect. The unit is intended for outdoor concerts, building facades, stages and temporary installations where a durable, water- and dust-protected strobe light is required.
The IP65 protection rating ensures reliable operation in rain and dusty environments, reducing the need for additional housings. The frost effect diffuses LED pulses to create a softened, more uniform illumination that is suitable for architectural accenting as well as dynamic stage effects. LED technology provides high brightness with lower power consumption and minimal maintenance compared with traditional discharge strobes. The compact housing and mounting options simplify integration into outdoor rigs and fixed installations.
This strobe is designed for creating intense, diffused flash effects rather than continuous color mixing or nuanced color washes. It may not be suitable as the primary source of full-spectrum stage lighting or when exact color rendering and tunable color temperature are required. For indoor-only applications where weather protection is not necessary, a lighter or more feature-rich indoor fixture might be more cost-effective.
Mount the EUROLITE LED IP PIX Strobe FROST on a secure truss, bracket or surface approved for outdoor use. Connect the power supply according to local electrical regulations and ensure all cable entries and connectors remain weather-sealed. Control the strobe using available DMX protocols or the unit's built-in control options if provided; verify control addressing before operation. Position the fixture at a safe distance from performers and the audience, and test flash intensity and timing in low-risk conditions prior to live use.
Use the strobe with properly rated outdoor cabling and sealed connectors, set safe flash intervals for audience comfort, and integrate the frost effect where softened, wide-area flashes are preferred over harsh, pinpoint strobes.
