Printer Ribbon Evolis RCT018NAA 1000 pages

The Evolis RCT018NAA printer ribbon is an original monochrome printing consumable designed specifically to work seamlessly with Evolis Zenius and Primacy card printers. Utilizing reliable dye-sublimation print technology, this high-yield supply delivers up to 1000 pages per roll, making it a cost-effective solution for personalizing pre-printed cards. It provides exceptional printing quality and dependability, backed by rigorous testing from the manufacturer's research and development department to ensure optimal performance for professional card issuance tasks.

Advantages

Using the Evolis RCT018NAA ribbon guarantees consistent, professional results with sharp text and clear details on every card produced. As part of the Evolis High Trust range, it offers proven reliability that helps prevent printer jams and extends the operational lifespan of the printhead. The generous yield of 1000 pages minimizes the frequency of supply changes, thereby increasing overall workflow efficiency in busy environments. Furthermore, monochrome printing provides an economical approach for applications where full color is unnecessary, significantly reducing the cost per printed card.

Suitable for

• Personalizing pre-printed plastic cards
• Printing monochrome text and simple graphics on ID cards
• Producing security badges and employee credentials
• Creating membership cards and loyalty cards
• Issuing access control passes without color photographs

When it may not be suitable

This consumable is not suitable for printing full-color images, photographs, or multi-colored graphics, as it operates using a single monochrome color scheme. It is also incompatible with card printers manufactured by brands other than Evolis or specific Evolis models outside the Zenius and Primacy series.

Key specifications

• Print technology: Dye-sublimation monochrome
• Page yield: Up to 1000 pages
• Compatible device models: Evolis Zenius and Evolis Primacy

How to use

To install the ribbon, open your compatible Evolis card printer according to the manufacturer instructions. Remove the used ribbon cassette if present and insert the Evolis RCT018NAA ribbon securely into the designated compartment, ensuring proper alignment. Close the printer cover firmly until it clicks into place. Run any necessary cleaning cycles or test prints through your computer software to verify that the ribbon is recognized and operating correctly before starting your main card production run.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your specific card printer model is either an Evolis Zenius or an Evolis Primacy
• Confirm whether your application requires single-color monochrome printing rather than full color
• Check your current average monthly card volume to ensure the 1000-page yield meets your operational needs

Usage recommendations

For best results and to maintain printer warranty, always use genuine Evolis High Trust supplies, store unused ribbons in a cool and dry environment away from direct sunlight, and perform regular printer maintenance including cleaning roller cycles.
