The Evolis Zenius Classic Line is a compact dye-sublimation/thermal transfer plastic card printer designed for single-sided card issuance. It produces high-quality monochrome or color prints at up to 300 x 300 dpi and accepts PVC and PVC composite cards. The Classic Line connects via USB and is intended for users who print cards from a single computer; it does not include encoding or network interfaces. The printer includes front-located card feeder and output tray, a manual feeder, and a simple control panel with LEDs.

How to use

Install the printer on a single workstation using the USB connection and install the Evolis Premium Suite® drivers and Print Center software. Load PVC or PVC composite cards into the front manual feeder and insert the Evolis High Trust® ribbon cassette; the printer will recognize the ribbon chip and set the correct configuration automatically. Use the Print Center to manage print jobs, monitor ribbon status and receive pop-up notifications about maintenance. For barcode printing, include the required barcode in your card layout before sending the job to the printer.

Usage recommendations
