Thermal paste Evolveo Ptero TC 2 — thermal compound 15.2 W/mK, 2 g syringe
Evolveo Ptero TC 2 is a high-conductivity thermal paste formulated to improve heat transfer between processors, graphics chips and their cooling solutions. Delivered in a 2 g syringe for controlled application, the thermal compound has a rated thermal conductivity of 15.2 W/mK, enabling more efficient dissipation of heat from CPU and GPU surfaces to heatsinks or coolers. The product is suitable for new installs, cooler swaps and routine maintenance to help maintain optimal operating temperatures.
The thermal compound provides a balance of high thermal conductivity and ease of application, allowing even thin, consistent layers that reduce thermal resistance. Packaged in a syringe, it enables precise placement and minimizes waste during application. The non-curing formulation maintains thermal performance over repeated thermal cycles and is compatible with typical heatsink and cooler materials used in consumer and enthusiast systems.
Ensure both the processor or GPU surface and the heatsink base are clean and free of old compound, dust and oils. Apply a small, pea-sized or thin line of Evolveo Ptero TC 2 to the center of the chip surface and spread if required by your mounting method; the pressure from the heatsink will help create an even thin layer. Reattach the cooler according to the manufacturer's mounting instructions, tightening evenly to distribute the compound. Use only a thin, even layer — excess compound can reduce thermal transfer efficiency.
For best results, clean contact surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth before application. Use a small amount and avoid contaminating other components. Reapply when replacing coolers or if thermal monitoring shows elevated temperatures after prolonged use.
