Interface Card EXSYS EX-11092-2
The EXSYS EX-11092-2 is an internal PCIe USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface card that provides two screw-lock SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports for adding external devices to a workstation, desktop or server. Based on the Renesas uPD720202 chipset, the card supports data rates up to 5 Gbit/s (USB 3.0 SuperSpeed) and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. The card is PCI Express Gen2 compliant, available in a low-profile bracket format and does not require additional power from the computer power supply to provide up to 900 mA to the external USB 3.0 ports.
The EX-11092-2 supports SuperSpeed data transfer at up to 5 Gbit/s while remaining backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. It follows USB 3.0 and Intel xHCI specifications, supports standard USB transfer types (control, bulk, interrupt, isochronous) and allows hot swapping and plug-and-play installation. The screw-lock ports provide a more secure physical connection for external devices.
Power off the PC and insert the EX-11092-2 into an available PCIe slot, securing the card with the bracket screw. If necessary, replace the bracket with the low-profile bracket provided. Boot the system and allow the operating system to detect the new USB controller; install drivers if required. Connect USB devices using the screw-lock cables to ensure a secure connection. Devices will be available for use immediately after detection (hot swap supported when the system and device allow it).
Install the card into a free PCIe slot with appropriate bandwidth (x1 or higher). Use USB 3.0 compatible cables and ports on your devices for optimal performance. Ensure adequate ventilation in the chassis and use the screw-lock connections for equipment that may be moved or subjected to vibration.
