Extra digital BC40Q is an in-car FM transmitter designed to play digital audio files and broadcast them to a car radio. It accepts audio from USB flash drives, microSD cards or Bluetooth devices and transmits the signal over an FM frequency, while also providing dual USB charging including a Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 port.

How to use

Plug the FM transmitter into the vehicle 12V socket. Select an FM frequency on the transmitter that is free or distant from local radio stations, then tune your car radio to the same frequency. Insert a USB flash drive or microSD card with compatible audio files or pair your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0. Use the device controls to play, pause or navigate tracks and to answer or end calls. Use the USB ports to charge mobile devices while the transmitter is powered.

Usage recommendations

To improve audio quality, choose an FM frequency with minimal overlap from local stations and place the microphone within 0.5–2 metres of the speaker for clearer hands-free calls. Ensure storage devices are formatted and use supported audio file formats.
