HDMI extender extra digital CA913794 — up to 60 m, supports 1080p
The extra digital CA913794 HDMI extender transmits Full HD (1080p) video signals up to 60 m using a single Cat5e/Cat6 cable. The kit includes a transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) and allows HDMI cable connections near the devices (up to 10 m on the TX side and up to 15 m on the RX side) while the main link between TX and RX runs over the Cat5e/Cat6 cable. The unit supports PoC (power over cable) so a single 5 V DC power adapter connected to the transmitter can power both ends.
The extender preserves 1080p / 60Hz resolution with a maximum bandwidth of 150 MHz and a data rate up to 4.5 Gbps. It enables stable long-distance HDMI transmission up to 60 m with low power consumption and safe operating temperatures. Standard AWG26 HDMI cables are supported for local HDMI connections, and the compact TX/RX units are lightweight and easy to install. The kit includes a micro USB cable for power and comes with a 24-month warranty.
Connect the HDMI output of your source device to the INPUT port on the transmitter using an HDMI cable (up to 10 m recommended). Connect the CAT5e or CAT6 cable between the CAT5E/6 ports on the transmitter and receiver. Connect an HDMI cable from the OUTPUT port on the receiver to the display (up to 15 m recommended). Plug the 5 V DC power adapter into the transmitter POWER port; if using PoC, this single adapter will supply power to both TX and RX. Ensure the power adapter does not exceed 5 V.
Use Cat6 cable where possible for more reliable long-distance transmission and keep HDMI patch cables short (AWG26 recommended) near the devices. Verify that the power adapter provides stable 5 V DC and do not exceed the specified voltage to avoid damage.
