The extra digital HDMI audio extractor CA916122 converts an incoming HDMI signal to pass video through to a display or projector while extracting the embedded HDMI audio. Extracted audio is available simultaneously as optical (Toslink), coaxial (RCA) digital outputs and as a 3.5 mm analog output for headphones or powered speakers. The device supports HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2 and can pass video up to 4096×2160@60Hz, enabling separation of audio and video for systems where the screen accepts HDMI but audio must be routed to external equipment.
