HDMI extender extra digital CA916139 — up to 60 m, supports 1080p
The extra digital HDMI extender CA916139 transmits high-definition video and stereo audio over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable up to 60 m, allowing separation of source and display where an HDMI run is impractical. It supports up to 1080p@60Hz and uses micro USB power for both transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX). The unit includes EDID control to select 720P or 1080P output, and both TX and RX provide 3.5 mm stereo audio outputs.
This HDMI extender supports 1080p@60Hz with EDID management to ensure stable compatibility between source and display. It uses low power, runs cool, and requires no software—installation is plug-and-play. The extender preserves HDMI signal quality over longer distances by using Cat5e/Cat6 cable and includes both HDMI and 3.5 mm audio ports on transmitter and receiver.
Connect the HDMI source to the transmitter INPUT HDMI port and the display to the receiver OUTPUT HDMI port. Use a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable to link the CAT5E/6 ports on TX and RX. Plug micro USB power cables into DC/5V on both TX and RX and confirm power indicators are lit. If required, set the EDID switch on the transmitter by pressing for 3 seconds to select 720P or 1080P. Use the AUDIO ports for stereo output where separate analog audio is needed.
For best results, use a high-quality Cat6 cable and keep HDMI cable runs to the input/output within the specified distances (up to 10 m HDMI input, up to 15 m HDMI output with AWG26). Ensure both units receive stable 5V power and set EDID according to the connected display’s native resolution to avoid handshake issues.
