Docking Station dual-bay for 2.5" and 3.5" SSD/HDD, extra digital USB‑B
Docking Station dual-bay for 2.5" and 3.5" SSD/HDD, extra digital USB‑B
extra digital dual-bay docking station for 2.5" and 3.5" SSD/HDD provides direct, standalone access to two SATA drives via a USB Type-B 3.0 interface. The unit accepts both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA I/II/III drives and supports simultaneous operation of two disks for tasks such as file transfer, backup, cloning and offline maintenance. The compact aluminum-alloy enclosure improves heat dissipation while the included 12V/3A power supply guarantees stable drive operation. LED indicators and plug-and-play functionality enable quick connection without driver installation. Note: SSDs and HDDs are sold separately.
The docking station supports up to 5 Gbps transfer speeds over USB 3.0 and allows both bays to operate at the same time, enabling faster data migration between drives. Automatic sleep after 10 minutes of inactivity reduces power consumption and protects drives. Its aluminum alloy housing and compact footprint offer improved heat dissipation and convenient placement on a desk. The device is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux and requires no special drivers, simplifying use for technicians and home users alike.
Insert compatible 2.5" or 3.5" SATA drives into the bays until they seat firmly, connect the supplied 12V/3A power adapter to the docking station and plug the USB Type-B 3.0 cable into your computer. The connected operating system should recognise each drive automatically without additional drivers. Use standard disk utilities for cloning, imaging, formatting or transferring files. Observe LED indicators to confirm power and activity status while drives are being accessed.
Place the docking station on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation. For large transfers or cloning operations, ensure the computer is connected to a reliable power source and avoid removing drives while data activity is indicated by LEDs. Use the sleep feature or safely eject drives through the operating system before disconnecting to prevent data corruption.
