Extralink Emma Fiber Optic Terminal Box 16 Core White

The Extralink Emma Fiber Optic Terminal Box 16 Core White is a professional distribution enclosure designed for secure management, organization, and termination of fiber optic cables. Engineered for modern network installations, this terminal box ensures efficient handling of fiber connections in telecommunications and data networking applications.

Advantages

The unit features a tightly closed structure that provides reliable protection against adverse environmental factors such as humidity, water, and dust. Inside the housing, fibers, welds, and splitters are neatly organized to maintain network transparency and safety. Cables, pigtails, and patchcords operate independently without interfering with one another. The design supports cassette-type SC adapters for straightforward maintenance, and the enclosure can be mounted on either a wall or a pole for versatile deployment.

Suitable for

• PON technology network distribution points
• Indoor and outdoor telecommunication installations
• Managing up to 16 fiber optic core welds
• Professional fiber cable routing and protection

When it may not be suitable

This terminal box may not be appropriate for installations requiring mid-span cable input functionality. Additionally, applications demanding core capacities exceeding 16 welds will require a larger distribution enclosure.

Key specifications

• Capacity: Up to 16 core welds
• Dimensions: 265 mm width, 105 mm depth, 310 mm height
• Color: White
• Mounting options: Pole and wall
• Splitter holder: Included
• Weld protection: Includes 16 pieces of 60mm weld shielding

How to use

Mount the enclosure securely to a designated wall or pole using appropriate hardware. Route the main fiber optic cable into the box through the sealed entry hole. Secure the incoming cables and client lines using the internal mountings, and organize the splices within the integrated cassette system. Utilize the included weld shielding to protect individual splices and ensure all components are properly seated before closing the enclosure.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the 16-core capacity meets your current and projected network requirements
• Confirm whether wall or pole mounting is suitable for your installation site
• Check that mid-span input capability is not required for your cable layout

Ensure the enclosure is tightly sealed after installation to maintain environmental resistance and protect internal fiber connections from dust and moisture over time.
