TP-Link Tapo Mini Smart Wi-Fi Socket Energy Monitoring 2990W White
TP-Link Tapo Mini Smart Wi-Fi Socket with energy monitoring provides remote control and power-usage tracking for indoor appliances. The compact white plug supports Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi connection, works with Android and iOS via the Tapo app, and handles up to 2990W input power. It is designed to leave adjacent sockets accessible and includes safety features such as flame-retardant material, child-proof design and corrosion-resistant contacts.
The smart socket enables scheduling and timers, real-time energy monitoring and cost estimation through the Tapo app. It supports voice control with compatible voice assistants, device grouping for one-tap control, power-off memory for automatic recovery to a predefined status, and an Away Mode that simulates presence. Setup does not require a separate hub and the device can be shared between family members for joint management.
Plug the Tapo Mini into an indoor socket and connect it to your home Wi‑Fi network using the Tapo app on an Android or iOS device. Add the plug in the app, configure schedules, timers and energy monitoring, and group it with other Tapo devices if needed. Use voice commands with a compatible voice assistant or control devices directly from the Tapo app. If the Internet is unavailable, local schedules and power-off memory keep routines operating.
Use the smart socket indoors only and do not exceed the maximum input power of 2990 W. For devices with high starting currents (large heaters or motors) verify compatibility and prefer setting default power status to Off if safety is required. Keep the plug accessible and avoid covering it to ensure heat dissipation.
