This waiters corkscrew features a convenient double-pull function that allows for smooth and controlled extraction of corks with minimal physical effort. Its multi-functional design integrates a corkscrew, a bottle opener, and a small foil cutter, making it a comprehensive solution for opening various beverage containers. The combination of stainless steel and durable ABS construction ensures long-lasting performance and resistance to regular wear. Its compact 130mm format makes it highly portable and easy to store in a pocket or apron.

Suitable for

• Opening wine bottles at home, in restaurants, and bars
• Outdoor activities such as picnics and camping trips
• Professional use by waiters, bartenders, and sommeliers
• Opening standard bottled beverages using the integrated bottle opener

When it may not be suitable

This sommelier knife may not be ideal for individuals who require specialized, heavy-duty lever corkscrews designed for high-volume commercial bar settings without manual pull mechanisms. It is also not suited for removing heavy-duty industrial seals that require specialized cutting tools beyond a standard foil cutter.

Key specifications

• Brand: Fackelmann
• Type: Sommelier knife / waiters corkscrew
• Materials: Stainless steel and ABS
• Length: 130 mm
• Color: Multicolour, silver and black
• Functions: 3-in-1 (corkscrew, bottle opener, foil cutter)
• Special feature: Double-pull function

How to use

To use the sommelier knife, first extend the integrated foil cutter blade and cut the foil wrap around the neck of the wine bottle just below the lip. Fold the foil cutter back into the handle. Insert the spiral corkscrew worm into the center of the cork and turn it clockwise until nearly all turns are engaged. Engage the first notch of the double-pull lever against the rim of the bottle and lift the handle upward to pull the cork partially out. Then, shift the second notch onto the rim and complete the extraction smoothly. Finally, use the built-in bottle opener for standard crown-cap bottles as needed.

What to consider before purchase

• Check if the 130mm compact size meets your ergonomic preferences for handling and leverage.
• Ensure the 3-in-1 tool set aligns with your specific beverage opening needs.
• Consider the double-pull mechanism and whether it fits your preferred method of cork extraction.

Usage recommendations: Clean the metal parts and blade periodically with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly to maintain optimal performance and hygiene. Store in a dry place when not in use to protect the stainless steel and ABS components.
