FANTEC storage enclosure WR-NVMeU.2-C3141 for 2.5" and 3.5" drives, black
FANTEC storage enclosure WR-NVMeU.2-C3141 is a compact external enclosure in black designed to accommodate both 2.5" and 3.5" drives. It provides a straightforward solution for using internal drives externally, enabling quick expansion of storage capacity, secure data backup and convenient file transfer between systems. The enclosure is intended for use with compatible SATA drive interfaces and fits desktop and workstation environments where accessible, removable storage is required.
The enclosure supports common drive sizes without requiring adapters, simplifying installation and interchange of 2.5" and 3.5" drives. Its compact form factor and black finish allow unobtrusive placement on a desk or next to other equipment. Designed for easy drive insertion and removal, it streamlines backup, cloning and data migration tasks while keeping drives externally accessible and protected.
Install a compatible 2.5" or 3.5" drive into the enclosure following the manufacturer’s alignment and securing instructions, connect the enclosure to a host system via the provided interface cable, and power on the drive if external power is required. The host operating system should recognise the drive as external storage; initialise or format the drive if necessary before first use. For removal, ensure the operating system has completed all read/write operations and safely eject the drive before powering down the enclosure.
Use the enclosure on a stable, ventilated surface to avoid overheating. When handling drives, observe electrostatic discharge precautions and ensure the drive is compatible with SATA interface requirements. For frequent swapping, follow the safe-eject procedure of your operating system to prevent data corruption.
