The Feelworld FW279 is a 7" (17.8 cm) on-camera monitor with a 1920×1200 IPS LED-backlit panel and a high brightness 2200 cd/m2 backlight. Designed for field production and on-set monitoring, it supports multiple video formats up to 4Kp30 via HDMI input and provides a loop-out for downstream devices. The unit accepts DC power from 7–24 V or standard interchangeable battery plates, offers a 1/4" mounting thread and a compact form factor (185×120×25 mm) that fits DSLR rigs, stabilizers and camera cranes.

How to use

Mount the Feelworld FW279 on your camera rig using the 1/4" thread or attach to a larger mount via the VESA 75 holes. Connect a camera using the HDMI input; if needed, use the HDMI loop-out to feed a recorder or wireless transmitter. Power the monitor with a compatible DC source (7–24 V) or insert an appropriate battery plate and battery. Use the intuitive menu and programmable shortcut buttons to enable common tools such as peaking, false color, zebras and histogram. Adjust brightness and color settings as required; the monitor stores your settings automatically for the next power-up.

Usage recommendations

For outdoor shoots, increase backlight brightness and enable false color or zebras to confirm exposure. Use peaking and 1:1 pixel-to-pixel mode for critical focus checks. When powering from batteries, monitor remaining battery life and prefer a secure mount for long takes; press the power button to shut down before disconnecting power cables.
