Fellow 58 mm Magnetic Dosing Funnel

Enhance your espresso preparation with the Fellow 58 mm magnetic dosing funnel. Designed specifically for 58 mm portafilters, this accessory securely attaches using strong magnets to prevent coffee grounds from spilling during grinding and dosing. Made for home baristas and coffee enthusiasts, it ensures a clean workspace, reduces coffee waste, and improves the overall efficiency of your coffee brewing routine.

Advantages

The Fellow magnetic dosing funnel provides a reliable and stable connection to your portafilter thanks to its strong integrated magnets, ensuring it stays firmly in place during active grinding. By capturing loose grounds, it effectively eliminates countertop messes and minimizes costly coffee bean waste. Its streamlined design integrates smoothly into your daily espresso workflow, helping you maintain cleanliness and precision with every shot you pull.

Suitable for

• Home espresso preparation using 58 mm portafilters
• Reducing coffee grounds spillage during grinding
• Maintaining a clean and organized coffee station workspace
• Improving efficiency in daily coffee brewing routines

When it may not be suitable

This dosing funnel is specifically designed for 58 mm portafilters and may not fit portafilters of different sizes, such as 54 mm or 58.5 mm precision baskets, securely. It is also not required if your grinder dispenses directly into a closed chamber or if your portafilter setup already incorporates an integrated anti-spill mechanism.

Key specifications

• Designed for 58 mm portafilters
• Magnetic attachment mechanism
• Material optimized for coffee preparation
• Compatible with standard home espresso grinders

How to use

Place the Fellow dosing funnel directly on top of your empty 58 mm portafilter basket. The built-in magnets will automatically align and secure the funnel to the metal rim. Proceed to grind your coffee directly into the portafilter through the funnel opening. Once dosing is complete and level, simply lift the funnel off the portafilter before tamping your coffee bed as usual.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your espresso machine portafilter measures exactly 58 mm in diameter
• Check compatibility with your specific coffee grinder fork or dosing clearance
• Assess your current workflow to ensure a magnetic funnel fits your dosing style

Usage recommendations: Wipe the dosing funnel with a dry or damp cloth after each use to prevent coffee residue buildup and maintain the magnetic contact surface clean.
