This widespread method of plastic comb binding stands out for its simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and the practical ability to reopen the binding whenever pages need updating or replacement.

Advantages

The Fellowes plastic binding spines offer a practical and economical approach to document management. Their sturdy construction ensures that pages remain firmly in place during daily handling. The ability of bound materials to rotate fully and lie completely flat enhances user comfort during presentations and study sessions. Furthermore, the design supports document reusability, allowing users to easily open the spine to add, remove, or exchange pages without damaging the paper or the binding element.

Suitable for

• Binding office reports and business proposals
• Preparing training manuals and educational materials
• Assembling presentations in copy shops and corporate environments
• Organizing project documentation for meetings and archives

When it may not be suitable

These plastic binding spines may not be suitable for documents requiring permanent, tamper-proof binding, as the flexible comb structure allows the pages to be manually separated and reinserted. They are also not designed for ultra-thin pamphlets or extremely large volumes exceeding the specified page capacity.

• Color: Black
• Binding capacity: 211 to 245 sheets of 80g paper

How to use

To bind your document, first punch the appropriate binding holes along the edge of your paper stack using a compatible comb binding machine. Select the correct size of plastic spine corresponding to your document thickness, which in this case accommodates between 211 and 245 sheets of standard 80g paper. Place the spine onto the binding machine's comb opener and gently expand the rings. Insert the punched pages onto the open rings, then close the spine back to its original position and remove the finished document.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your document page count falls within the 211 to 245 sheet range for optimal binding
• Ensure compatibility with standard comb binding machines
• Check that the 28.5 mm diameter and black color match your professional presentation standards

Usage recommendations: Store the plastic binding spines in a dry environment away from direct sunlight to maintain material flexibility and prevent warping before use.
