FERRO ZS2K Check Valve with Brass Strainer 1 Inch

The FERRO ZS2K Check Valve with Brass Strainer 1 Inch is a dependable plumbing component designed to prevent backflow in water installation systems. Featuring an integrated durable brass strainer, this valve ensures efficient unidirectional fluid flow while simultaneously protecting pumps and other system components from debris and particles. Built for reliability and longevity, it serves as an essential element for maintaining proper pressure and preventing water from flowing backward in various fluid management setups.

Advantages

This check valve offers robust construction utilizing quality brass materials that ensure high resistance to corrosion and mechanical wear over extended periods of use. The inclusion of the brass strainer provides dual functionality by acting as both a reliable backflow preventer and an effective filtration screen. Its standard 1-inch connection size facilitates seamless integration into existing piping networks, ensuring optimal flow rates and dependable performance under normal operating conditions.

Suitable for

• Domestic water supply systems
• Garden and agricultural irrigation setups
• Industrial fluid handling applications
• Pump protection installations

When it may not be suitable

This device is not designed for use with corrosive chemicals, high-viscosity fluids, or systems operating outside standard temperature and pressure limits. It is also unsuitable for applications requiring variable flow directions or systems where periodic strainer maintenance cannot be performed.

Key specifications

• Connection size: 1 inch
• Material: Brass
• Component type: Check valve with integrated strainer
• Function: Backflow prevention and debris filtration

How to use

Installation should be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with standard plumbing practices and local regulations. Ensure the pipeline is clean and free of debris prior to mounting.
