Staircase Timer Switch FF AS-225 for Ø60 flush box, 4A, 10–90 s, 9–30V DC
FF AS-225 is a staircase timer switch designed for installation in a Ø60 mm flush-mounted box. The device provides timed control of lighting circuits in stairwells, corridors and common areas, allowing lights to turn off automatically after activation. It accepts a wide low-voltage supply of 9–30 V DC and is intended for residential and small commercial installations where reliable short-delay switching is required.
The compact timer fits into a standard Ø60 mm flush box, saving installation space and maintaining a discreet appearance. Adjustable delay from 10 to 90 seconds enables precise control of lighting duration according to local needs. The switch is rated for up to 4 A continuous load, enabling direct control of many lighting loads without additional contactors. Low-voltage operation increases compatibility with DC control systems and reduces electrical safety constraints during installation and maintenance.
Install the timer switch into a Ø60 mm flush-mounted box following local electrical regulations and with power isolated. Connect the low-voltage supply and the switched lighting circuit according to the wiring diagram provided by the manufacturer. Set the desired delay time using the on-device adjustment and verify operation by triggering the input; the output will switch off automatically after the selected interval. After installation, test the unit under expected load conditions to ensure reliable timing and switching.
For long-term reliability, avoid exceeding the 4 A load rating and ensure appropriate wiring gauge and secure terminals. Use the device within the specified 9–30 V DC range and protect the circuit with suitable overcurrent protection. For installations in larger or high-current lighting systems, consider using the timer to drive a relay or contactor rated for the higher load.
