Staircase Automatic Switch FF AS-B220 230V 16A DIN-rail 2-module IP40
The FF AS-B220 Staircase Automatic Switch is a DIN-rail mounted, 2-module device designed for timed control of lighting circuits in stairwells, corridors and entryways. Operating at 230 V with a switching capacity up to 16 A and IP40 protection, it provides push-button or momentary-contact activation and automatic time-controlled turn-off. The compact module is suitable for installation in standard distribution boards and integrates with common residential and light-commercial lighting systems to reduce manual switching and ensure lights are only on when needed.
The unit offers reliable timed control of lighting with a simple push-button interface and adjustable time function. Its 2-module DIN-rail format saves space in distribution boards while providing a rated switching current adequate for typical lighting loads up to 16 A at mains voltage. IP40 enclosure protection and standardized mounting ensure straightforward installation and serviceability in indoor electrical cabinets.
Mount the device on a standard DIN rail inside a distribution board and connect the supply, load and control push-button according to the circuit diagram supplied with the unit. After powering the device, pressing the external push-button will switch the lighting on for the preset time interval; the time setting can be adjusted where applicable. The device operates automatically without further user intervention, turning the lights off after the elapsed time to conserve energy and extend lamp life.
Install the module in a dry, indoor electrical cabinet and ensure wiring and commissioning are performed by a qualified electrician. Confirm that connected loads do not exceed the 16 A rating and use appropriate circuit protection. For reliable operation, avoid exposure to moisture or dust beyond IP40 limits and follow manufacturer wiring diagrams and applicable local electrical codes.
