FF AZ-112 is an automatic twilight switch designed to control lighting circuits at mains voltage. The device switches up to 16 A at 230 V and offers an adjustable activation threshold from 2 to 1000 lx. It is supplied with an external light sensor (probe) and is intended for mounting on a DIN rail, providing a compact and standardized installation solution for automatic control of street, façade, garden and security lighting based on ambient illumination.

How to use

Install the unit on a standard DIN rail inside an electrical enclosure and connect it to the 230 V supply and the lighting circuit following local wiring regulations. Position the external light sensor in a representative outdoor location free from local artificial light sources and pointing away from direct lamp glare. Adjust the threshold control to the desired lux level so the lighting switches on and off at the required ambient illumination. Verify correct operation by observing the relay switching at dusk and dawn conditions.

Usage recommendations

For reliable operation, mount the external sensor where it senses general ambient light without obstruction and away from nearby lights or reflective surfaces. Periodically check the sensor and wiring for dirt and damage and recalibrate the threshold if seasonal or landscaping changes alter ambient lighting conditions.
