Impulse relay FF BIS-411 240V 16A 1-module IP40
FF BIS-411 impulse relay is a single-module DIN-rail device built for 240 V AC systems. It provides pulse-operated switching with a rated contact current of 16 A and an IP40 enclosure suitable for installation inside distribution boards and control cabinets. The relay is designed to receive brief control pulses and toggle lighting or other electrical circuits between on and off states, enabling centralized or remote momentary control in residential and commercial installations.
The device combines compact one-module design with standard DIN-rail mounting, conserving space in distribution enclosures. With a 16 A switching capacity it supports most lighting circuits and small loads while maintaining reliable pulse switching behaviour. IP40 protection ensures basic mechanical and dust protection for indoor electrical panels, and the simple electromechanical interface enables integration with push-button switches, remote controllers, or automation outputs.
Install the relay on a standard DIN-rail inside a protected distribution board following local electrical regulations. Connect the supply and load conductors to the designated terminals and wire the momentary pushbutton or pulse-control input according to the circuit diagram. Apply a brief control pulse to toggle the relay output; the relay will switch the load on or off with each pulse. Ensure wiring is performed with power off and verify connections and insulation before restoring supply.
Use the relay within its rated voltage and current limits and avoid inductive loads that exceed the contact rating without appropriate suppression. For loads with high inrush current (e.g., certain LED drivers, transformers, or motors) verify compatibility or add protective devices. Install inside a dry, ventilated enclosure and allow access for maintenance and inspection.
