Bistable Relay FF BIS-416 flush-mount, two independent control circuits
Bistable Relay FF BIS-416 flush-mount, two independent control circuits
FF BIS-416 is a flush-mount bistable (latching) relay with two independent control circuits. Intended for installation in standard wall boxes, the device switches and maintains its output states without continuous coil power, reducing standby energy consumption. The compact module enables centralized control of two separate lighting or load circuits while preserving the last commanded state after power interruptions.
The relay offers two fully independent channels in a single flush-mount module, allowing separate switching of different loads from one installation point. As a bistable device it does not require continuous power to hold outputs, which lowers energy use and heat generation. Its design is compatible with common wall-box mounting standards and fits behind switches or in distribution points. The electrical contacts are intended for switching lighting and similar resistive or lightly inductive loads, enabling clean integration into residential and commercial wiring.
Install the module in a compatible wall box behind the control switches or inside a distribution enclosure, following local electrical codes and safety practices. Connect supply and load conductors to the relay terminals according to the wiring diagram provided by the installer or system documentation, ensuring each control circuit is wired independently if separate switching is required. Operate each channel via the connected switch, pushbutton, or control input; the relay will toggle and retain the last state until a subsequent command. Verify proper load ratings and observe polarity and grounding standards during installation.
Use the relay within the specified current and voltage ratings for lighting and small loads; avoid connecting loads that exceed the contact ratings or present high inrush currents without appropriate protection. For integration into automation systems, ensure control inputs and wiring follow the installer’s wiring diagram and comply with local regulations.
