Motion sensor FF DR-05 B, 1200W load, 180° detection angle, black
FF DR-05 B is a compact black motion sensor for automatic switching of electrical lighting loads up to 1200W. With a 180° detection angle it monitors movement across corridors, staircases, entryways and similar indoor areas to trigger on/off switching based on detected motion. The device is intended for installation in domestic and light commercial interiors where basic presence detection improves convenience and energy efficiency.
The sensor provides wide-angle coverage with a 180° detection field to reduce blind spots and support reliable activation of connected lighting. Its compact black housing blends with interior fittings while allowing unobtrusive mounting. The unit supports switching of loads up to 1200W, enabling use with a range of incandescent, halogen and compatible resistive or inductive lighting loads. Automatic switching reduces unnecessary runtime of luminaires and contributes to lower energy consumption.
Install the sensor at the recommended height and orientation to cover the desired area, following national wiring rules and safety standards. Connect the device inline with the lighting circuit so that it controls the live feed to the luminaire. After power-up, test the detection zone by walking across the coverage area and adjust mounting position if necessary. The sensor automatically switches lights on when motion is detected and switches them off after the absence period defined by the device settings or wiring configuration.
For reliable detection, mount the sensor where its 180° field faces the main traffic direction and avoid mounting behind objects that block view. Use with compatible lamps and ensure total connected load does not exceed 1200 W. For permanent installation, follow local electrical codes and, if unsure, have a qualified electrician perform the wiring and setup.
