Motion sensor FF DRM-01 microwave 360° white 1200W
FF DRM-01 microwave 360° white 1200W is a ceiling-mounted motion sensor that uses microwave detection to monitor presence across a full 360° coverage area. Designed for indoor environments, the sensor activates lighting or other electrical loads up to 1200 W. Its white housing integrates with standard interiors and provides automated control for corridors, stairwells, utility rooms and similar spaces where reliable full-area detection is required.
The microwave sensing technology enables reliable detection through certain non-metallic obstacles and is less affected by ambient light changes than optical sensors. With 360° coverage the unit offers broad area monitoring from a single mounting point. The sensor supports loads up to 1200 W, making it suitable for switching multiple luminaires or higher-power lighting circuits. The white finish provides a discreet appearance for residential and commercial interiors.
Install the sensor on the ceiling at the recommended central point of the area to be monitored, ensuring an unobstructed field of coverage. Connect the sensor to the lighting circuit following local electrical regulations and the manufacturer’s wiring diagram. After power is applied, verify detection by walking through the coverage area and adjust sensor position or height if needed to optimize response. For safety, disconnect mains power before performing installation or maintenance.
For best performance, mount the sensor at the height and location that provides the intended 360° coverage without large metal obstructions directly above or around the unit; avoid placing the sensor close to HVAC vents or strong RF sources that could interfere with microwave detection.
