Roller Shutter Controller FF STR-3P for 230V AC Motors, 3-Phase Control
Roller Shutter Controller FF STR-3P for 230V AC Motors, 3-Phase Control
FF STR-3P is a roller shutter controller for 230V AC motors that enables three-phase control of mains-driven tubular or tubular-like motors. Designed for use in residential and commercial installations, the unit supports centralized switching and integration with building automation systems to operate roller shutters, blinds and projection screens reliably from a single control point.
The controller provides stable AC motor switching suited for 230V tubular motors, minimizing wear on motor contacts and supporting coordinated control of multiple shutters. Its three-phase control architecture allows balanced power distribution and smoother operation for heavier or larger roller shutters. The device is compatible with standard mains-powered tubular motors and can be integrated into broader automation setups to enable timed or remote control.
This controller is intended specifically for 230V AC tubular and similar motors and is not appropriate for low-voltage DC motors or specialized motor types that require dedicated drivers. It may not be suitable where individual non-mains low-voltage motor control, very fine-positioning without end stops, or specific manufacturer-proprietary communication protocols are required.
Install the FF STR-3P in accordance with local electrical codes and the motor manufacturer’s wiring diagrams. Connect the controller to the 230V AC supply and wire the motor outputs following the provided terminal layout. Configure the controller within the automation system or central switchgear to coordinate operating commands, end-stop settings and timed schedules. Perform initial tests with the shutters unloaded to confirm correct direction, end-stop operation and smooth switching before regular use.
For reliable long-term operation, use the controller with motors and shutters within the manufacturer’s rated load and follow periodic inspection routines. Commission the device with proper end-stop calibration and, where possible, integrate overload or protection devices in the supply circuit to protect motors and switching components.
