Roller Shutter Controller FF STR-422 230V single-button 230 V
Roller Shutter Controller FF STR-422 230V single-button 230 V
The FF STR-422 230V single-button roller shutter controller is designed for simple control of 230 V tubular motors used in roller shutters, blinds and awnings. It provides a single-switch interface to drive the motor up, stop and down, integrating into control boxes or wall-mounted switch panels. The device is intended for residential and commercial installations where straightforward manual operation and reliable switching of AC motors are required.
This single-button controller offers compact design and straightforward operation, enabling users to control motorized roller coverings with a single switch for up/stop/down functions. It is compatible with standard 230 V AC tubular motors and fits into typical installation environments such as control cabinets or switch panels. The controller’s simple wiring and mechanical switching reduce installation complexity and facilitate replacement or upgrade of existing manual controls.
This controller is intended for standard single-motor 230 V tubular drives and manual single-switch operation. It may not be suitable where multi-channel control, programmable timers, remote wireless control, or integration with sophisticated home automation systems is required. For low-voltage motors, DC motors, or motors with built-in electronic limiters requiring specialised interfaces, choose a compatible controller designed for those motor types.
Install the controller in a control box or behind a wall switch plate following local electrical codes and with power disconnected. Connect the supply live and neutral and the motor conductors according to the wiring diagram provided with the device, ensuring proper earthing where required. Operate the connected roller shutter motor by pressing the single button: one direction for up, a second press to stop, and another direction for down, depending on the wiring orientation. If the motor runs in the opposite direction, swap the motor output connections while power is off.
Follow the manufacturer wiring diagram and local electrical regulations during installation. Use a qualified electrician for mains connections and testing. Periodically inspect connections for tightness and signs of wear; disconnect power before maintenance. If integrating with automated systems, select compatible interfaces or relays matched to the motor and control requirements.
