The FISCHER Expansion anchor 090923 (Ø8 mm, length 56 mm) is a metal heavy-duty internal threaded anchor set designed for pre-positioned installation in non-cracked concrete. Each set includes two zinc-plated steel anchors with a detachable plastic cap that protects the internal thread from dirt, plus TA M8 S/10 expansion sleeves and M8×65 screws. During installation the cone is pulled into the expansion sleeve, expanding it against the hole wall to create a secure hold for medium to heavy-duty fixtures such as brackets, machines and railings. A 12 mm drill hole is required for installation.

How to use

Drill a 12 mm diameter hole to the required depth in non-cracked concrete, clean the hole of dust, insert the expansion anchor with its plastic cap in the pre-positioned hole, then tighten the supplied M8×65 screw. As the screw is tightened the cone pulls into the sleeve and expands it against the hole wall to create the load-bearing connection. Remove the protective cap if necessary before final tightening to ensure full thread engagement.
