Expansion anchor Fischer FBN II 12/50
The Fischer FBN II 12/50 expansion anchor is a steel anchor designed for cost-effective, reliable fastening in non-cracked concrete. With a 12 mm diameter bolt and a total length of 146 mm, this anchor features a long thread and two recommended anchorage depths for flexible use. The zinc-plated steel version is suited for internal applications such as railings, cable trays and consoles. Each pack contains 20 pieces and the anchor supports stand-off, pre-positioned and push-through installations.
The FBN II 12/50 provides a simple, economical solution for concrete fixings thanks to its long thread and two anchorage depth options that increase installation flexibility. Zinc plating offers corrosion protection suitable for interior use. The anchor’s design allows for stand-off, pre-positioned and push-through installation methods, reducing the need for different anchor types on site.
Drill a 12 mm hole to the required depth in non-cracked concrete, clean the hole of dust, insert the anchor and position the fixture. Tighten the bolt to expand the sleeve and engage the anchor in the concrete. The anchor can be installed as a stand-off fixing, pre-positioned in the hole before attaching the fixture, or used in push-through installation depending on the application and required anchorage depth.
Verify drill diameter and embedment depth for your specific load requirements and follow local codes. Use the anchor only in non-cracked concrete and avoid outdoor exposure unless additional corrosion protection is applied.
