Wall plug Fischer 50125 screw anchor 40 mm
The Fischer 50125 screw anchor is a durable nylon wall plug for use in concrete and solid masonry. With a 6 mm diameter and 40 mm length it fits a 6 mm drill hole and is supplied in a pack of 200. The plug is made from high-quality nylon for robustness during installation and long-term secure fixing. Its design limits expansion to two directions, allowing the expansion forces to be oriented parallel to the edge of the base material when the plug is rotated, which reduces the risk of spalling near edges.
The rimless sleeve allows the plug to be set flush or deeper under plaster down to the bearing substrate for maximum load-bearing capacity. Two-directional expansion enables smaller edge distances by directing forces parallel to the substrate edge. The slimline geometry makes insertion into the drill hole easy for fast, simple installation. An anti-rotation lock prevents the plug from turning in the hole, ensuring reliable installation safety.
Drill a 6 mm hole to the required depth in concrete or solid masonry, clear the drill hole of dust, then push the Fischer 50125 plug into the hole until it sits flush or at the required depth beneath plaster. Insert a wood or chipboard screw of suitable length and tighten; the plug will expand in two directions to create a secure anchor in the base material.
Use appropriate drill and screw sizes, follow recommended edge and spacing distances for your substrate, and choose screw length that allows full engagement of the plug. For best results in cracked concrete or hollow substrates, select a suitable alternative anchor designed for those conditions.
