Screw Anchor Fischer 522110 85 mm
The fischer bolt anchor FAZ II K (Screw Anchor Fischer 522110 85 mm) is a compact zinc-plated steel anchor designed for fixing heavy loads in cracked concrete. With a connecting thread of M10, a diameter of 10 mm and a length of 85 mm, this anchor is intended for use with a 10 mm drill hole and is supplied in boxes of 25 pieces. Its low setting depth reduces drilling time and effort while the expansion clip transfers loads securely into the concrete to provide high load-bearing capacity even at reduced anchorage depths.
The zinc-plated steel construction makes the anchor suitable for indoor applications. Evaluation according to the current ETA focuses on tensile strengths, which can reduce the number of anchors required. Variable anchorage depths across sizes allow precise adjustment to the applied loads. A version with a cap nut provides a neat finish and reduces the risk of injury due to its rounded shape. The FAZ II K series includes options with ETA Option 1 for secure and reliable anchorings, and international approvals ensure consistent safety and performance.
Drill a 10 mm hole to the required depth, clean the hole of dust and debris, insert the anchor and tighten the bolt or screw to set the expansion clip against the concrete. Observe the recommended embedment depth for the selected anchor size and tighten to the torque values specified by the manufacturer or relevant approvals to achieve the rated load capacity.
Use the anchor indoors where corrosion protection from zinc plating is sufficient. For outdoor or corrosive environments, select an appropriate corrosion-resistant version. Always follow fixing layouts, spacing and edge distance requirements from the ETA or technical documentation and verify substrate condition (cracked concrete) before installation.
