The Fischer metal expansion fixing FMD is a pre-positioned anchor that secures by expanding when the screw is driven in. Expansion causes the metal sleeve’s external teeth to grip the surrounding building material, creating a firm mechanical connection suitable for fastening pipes, clamps and similar fixtures to solid and hollow substrates as well as to solid gypsum panels.

A ribbed internal geometry guides the screw securely, and the system accepts common wood and chipboard screws for flexibility. How to use
