The fischer DuoPower 6 mm x 30 mm wall plug is a two-component universal fixing designed for use in a wide range of building materials including concrete, solid brick, aerated concrete, gypsum and plasterboard. Supplied in a pack of 120 pieces, this grey/red plug adapts automatically to the substrate by folding, expanding or knotting to transfer high loads and provide reliable anchorage for screws used in interior and exterior fixtures.

Advantages

How to use

Drill a hole with the recommended drill bit diameter (8 mm) to the required depth. Clean the hole of dust and debris. Insert the DuoPower plug into the hole either as a pre-positioned or push-through installation depending on the fixture. Select a suitable wood, chipboard or stud screw; the required screw length equals plug length plus fixture thickness plus one screw diameter. Tighten the screw — the plug will fold, expand or form a knot depending on the substrate to achieve secure anchorage.

Usage recommendations

Use the DuoPower 6 x 30 mm for standard fixings in concrete, solid brick, plasterboard and aerated concrete. For applications in hollow building materials or when greater anchorage depth is required, consider longer DuoPower versions (for example 6 x 50, 8 x 65 or 10 x 80).
