FISCHER 567821 is a nylon expansion anchor designed for reliable mechanical fastening in concrete, brick, autoclaved aerated concrete (aircrete), gypsum block and other masonry. How to use

Drill a 5 mm hole to the required depth in the chosen substrate, then clean the drill hole of dust. Insert the anchor into the hole—its shaped body allows simple positioning with a few light hammer taps if needed. For pre-positioned fixing insert the screw through the fixture into the anchor; for push-through installation push the anchor through the fixture into the drill hole. As the screw is tightened the anchor expands in four directions and secures itself in the substrate. The fixing wings hold the screw during positioning and an anti-rotation feature prevents the anchor from turning during installation. Select a screw length that equals anchor length plus fixture thickness plus screw diameter.

Usage recommendations

Use the anchor in suitable base materials as listed and choose screws that match the 5 mm anchor diameter. Avoid use in crumbling or extremely weak substrates where mechanical anchoring is not appropriate.
