FISCHER 93807 Wall Plug Screw Anchor Pack

The FISCHER 93807 wall plug and screw anchor pack is designed for reliable fastening applications in solid substrates and masonry. This hardware component provides a secure mechanical connection through a cone-driven expansion mechanism, making it a dependable choice for household repairs, carpentry, and light construction tasks where stable screw fixing is required. Constructed from zinc-plated steel, the sleeve anchor features a push-through installation method and allows for surface-flush removal when temporary fixation is needed.

Advantages

The zinc-plated steel build provides durability and reliable corrosion resistance for indoor and general hardware applications. Its cone-driven expansion mechanism creates a firm hold against the drill hole wall under shear loads. The push-through installation method simplifies fitting, while the option for surface-flush removal supports temporary anchor requirements without causing extensive damage to the underlying material.

Suitable for

• General household repairs and fixture mounting
• Light carpentry and joinery tasks
• Anchor fixings in solid concrete and dense masonry
• Temporary installations that require easy dismantling

When it may not be suitable

This sleeve anchor is not recommended for installation in hollow bricks, highly perforated materials, or weak substrates where expansion mechanics cannot achieve adequate friction. It should also be avoided for high-load structural applications unless verified by a professional engineer.

Key specifications

• Material: Zinc-plated steel
• Mechanism: Cone-driven expansion sleeve anchor
• Installation type: Push-through installation
• Substrate compatibility: Solid substrates and masonry
• Quantity: Pack containing multiple pieces

How to use

Prepare the installation area by drilling a hole of the correct diameter and depth into the solid substrate. Thoroughly clean dust and debris from the drilled hole to ensure a proper grip. Insert the sleeve anchor through the fixture and push it into the hole until fully seated. Tighten the fastener to pull the expansion cone into the sleeve, pressing it firmly against the walls of the drill hole until secure.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the substrate material is solid concrete or dense masonry rather than hollow blocks
• Check the required load capacities for your specific project
• Ensure you have the correct drill bit size and installation tools available

Usage recommendations

Use these anchors exclusively in solid substrates such as non-cracked concrete or dense masonry and follow proper drilling and cleaning techniques to achieve reliable holding performance.
