How to use

Attach the FLIR ONE Edge to your smartphone or tablet or hold it separately and connect via the device Wi‑Fi or the FLIR app. Use the FLIR mobile app to view live thermal images, apply MSX or VividIR enhancements, capture radiometric JPGs or video, and perform spot measurements (high, low, and 3‑point). For remote inspections, operate the camera wirelessly from up to 30 m away and monitor the live feed on your phone or tablet in real time.

Usage recommendations

For best measurement accuracy, allow the camera to stabilize for 60 seconds after startup with device temperature between 15 °C and 35 °C, and ensure scene temperature is within 5 °C to 120 °C. Use appropriate emissivity settings (matte, semi‑matte, semi‑gloss, gloss) and verify reflected apparent temperature for precise readings. Store and manage files using FLIR Ignite for organized cloud access.
