Flo 89888 Fruit Picker with Telescopic Handle 3m

The Flo 89888 fruit picker with telescopic handle 3m is a reliable garden tool designed for harvesting apples, pears, and other tree fruits safely from the ground. Featuring a practical telescopic handle extending up to 3 meters, it allows you to reach high branches without using a ladder. This efficient harvesting accessory minimizes fruit damage and makes seasonal gardening tasks easier and safer.

Advantages

The Flo fruit picker provides an effective solution for gathering tree crops without risking safety on unstable ladders. The adjustable reach ensures that hard-to-access fruits on upper branches can be collected with minimal physical effort. Its design focuses on protecting the harvest, helping to prevent bruising and dropping that typically lead to spoilage. Built for regular garden use, this tool simplifies orchard maintenance and fruit collection for home gardeners.

Suitable for

• Harvesting apples from garden trees
• Picking pears and similar tree fruits
• Reaching high branches up to 3 meters safely from the ground
• Seasonal backyard fruit gathering

When it may not be suitable

This fruit picker may not be suitable for large-scale commercial orchards where heavy-duty harvesting machinery is required. It is also less effective for very small or delicate berries that require manual picking or specialized small-scale tools.

Key specifications

• Brand: Flo
• Model: 89888
• Maximum reach: 3 meters
• Handle type: Telescopic
• Intended application: Fruit harvesting

How to use

Extend the telescopic handle to the desired length to reach the target fruit on the tree branch. Position the gathering basket directly underneath the fruit and guide the stem into the integrated cutting edge or prongs. Gently pull or twist so the fruit detaches and falls securely into the collection bag. Lower the tool periodically to empty the gathered produce into a larger container.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the maximum 3-meter reach is sufficient for the height of your fruit trees
• Assess your storage space to ensure the telescopic handle fits comfortably when fully retracted
• Consider the types of fruit you harvest to ensure compatibility with the picker basket design

Always store the fruit picker in a dry, protected place after use to maintain the longevity of the handle and collection mechanism. Clean the basket periodically to remove residual plant matter and keep the tool ready for the next harvest.
