Uninterruptible Power Supply Fortron FSP Champ Rack 1K — Online double-conversion 1 kVA / 900 W, 3 Type F outlets, rack 2U, USB-B, 12 V 9 Ah battery
Fortron FSP Champ Rack 1K is a rackmount uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with online double-conversion topology that delivers 1 kVA / 900 W of conditioned output. Built for 2U rack installations, the unit measures 438×310×88 mm and comes in a black chassis. It provides three Type F AC outlets for connecting servers and network devices, a USB Type‑B communication port, and an internal 12 V 9 Ah battery. The design incorporates a microprocessor controller and a high density layout with an output power factor of 0.9, offering continuous voltage regulation and isolation from line disturbances.
The double-conversion online design provides seamless transition between mains and battery power with zero transfer time and stable output waveform, suitable for sensitive IT equipment. The compact 2U form factor and internal intelligent expansion slot allow installation in space-constrained racks while retaining connectivity options. Integrated USB and RS-232 communication support remote monitoring and safe shutdown via compatible management software. The internal 12 V 9 Ah battery supports reliable short-term autonomy and is designed to recharge to approximately 90% in about four hours.
Install the UPS in a standard 19-inch rack using the included mounting hardware, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit. Connect critical equipment to the three Type F outlets and link the UPS to a management host via the USB Type‑B port for monitoring and shutdown management. After mains connection, allow the internal battery to charge for about four hours to reach near-nominal capacity. During a mains failure the UPS will provide uninterrupted, regulated power to connected loads through its double-conversion topology.
Place the UPS in a temperature- and humidity-controlled rack environment, avoid direct exposure to heat sources, and ensure regular battery checks. Use the communication port and management software to configure automatic shutdown procedures for connected equipment and schedule periodic battery replacement according to operating hours and battery health indicators.
