Uninterruptible Power Supply Fortron FP 1500 Line-Interactive 1.5 kVA / 900 W, 4x Type F outlets, 12 V 9 Ah battery
Fortron FP 1500 is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) offering 1.5 kVA (1500 VA) capacity and 900 W continuous output. Housed in a compact black mini-tower, this UPS provides short-term battery backup and basic voltage regulation for home and small office equipment. It is fitted with four Type F AC outlets and uses a user-replaceable 12 V 9 Ah battery with a typical recharge time of approximately 6 hours. The unit incorporates a microprocessor controller and supports simulated sine wave output, off-mode charging and cold start functionality to maintain power continuity for PCs, routers and other network devices during mains disturbances.
The Fortron FP 1500 delivers a combination of surge protection, automatic voltage regulation through line-interactive topology and brief battery runtime suitable for orderly shutdowns or continued operation of essential devices. Its compact form factor and four Type F outlets make it convenient for small workspaces. Built-in functions such as simulated sine wave output, automatic restart when mains power recovers, off-mode charging and a cold start option increase flexibility in environments with intermittent power.
Place the UPS on a flat, stable surface with adequate ventilation and connect essential equipment to the Type F outlets. Before first use, allow the internal battery to charge for the recommended recharge time. The unit will provide automatic voltage regulation and switch to battery power when mains supply fails. If AC power is absent, the cold start feature permits powering connected loads directly from the battery. When mains power is restored, the UPS can automatically restart and recharge the battery. Follow local safety regulations when connecting and disconnecting devices.
For reliable short-term backup, connect only essential devices whose combined power draw does not exceed the 900 W output rating. Regularly test the UPS and replace the 12 V 9 Ah battery according to the manufacturer’s recommended interval or when runtime noticeably decreases. Keep the UPS away from heat sources, liquids and direct sunlight to prolong service life.
