The Fractal Design Meshify 2 Tower Grey is a mid-tower PC case engineered for high airflow, modular storage and flexible cooling options. Its grey steel body and mesh-focused front provide a balance of dust filtration and ventilation while offering space for large motherboards, multiple drives and custom water-cooling components.

Advantages

Detachable front nylon filter and a hinged removable front mesh make front fan access and cleaning straightforward, while three preinstalled 140 mm Dynamic X2 GP-14 fans provide immediate airflow with room to expand to a total of nine fans. The case supports a Storage Layout with up to 11 HDDs plus four dedicated SSD mounts and includes a Multibracket to convert unused fan positions into HDD, SSD or pump mounts. A Nexus+ 2 fan hub and a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C front I/O add modern connectivity and simplified fan control. Tool-less top-latching side panels and an easily removable full top panel enable quick access for builds and routing.

Install the motherboard and power supply following standard PC building procedures, using the removable top and top-latching side panels to simplify component placement and cable routing. Choose the default Open Layout for large custom water loops or convert to Storage Layout when installing multiple HDDs and SSDs; the included Multibracket can be mounted in unused fan positions to add additional drives or a pump. Connect fans to the Nexus+ 2 fan hub for centralized power and PWM control, and use the detachable front filter and hinged mesh for easy cleaning and front fan access.

Usage recommendations

For best airflow and dust control, regularly clean the detachable front nylon filter and maintain free clearance on the top and front panels. When planning heavy storage builds, verify drive bracket placements and ensure adequate cooling for densely packed HDD arrays.
