The Fractal Design North Midi Tower Black reinterprets the gaming PC case by combining natural materials and considered details to fit into living-space environments. The front panel is available in real oak or walnut with refined metal accents and a faux-leather access tab. The case pairs an open-front layout with fine-patterned mesh ventilation and an intuitive interior that offers broad component compatibility.

Advantages

The case provides effective airflow through an open front and an integrated mesh top panel, with an optional full-mesh side on the mesh variant. It supports a variety of cooling configurations and long graphics cards while maintaining a stylish exterior thanks to real wood panels and steel or brass details. Front connectivity includes three USB ports with one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port that supports fast charging and up to 10 Gbps transfer speeds. Tool-free access is simplified via removable side panels, a detachable front, and a top panel that lifts using the integrated tab.

How to use

Install the motherboard (ATX/mATX/ITX) following standard mounting positions and secure the power supply in the bottom compartment. Mount storage using the included combined 3.5"/2.5" drive mounts or the dedicated 2.5" brackets. Configure cooling by installing radiators up to 240 mm on the top and up to 360 mm in the front or fit up to four 140 mm fans (or six 120 mm) depending on the variant. Connect front-panel USB and power cables to the motherboard and route cables through the interior for a tidy build. Use the integrated tab to remove the top panel and unclip the front for easy access during assembly and maintenance.
