The Fractal Torrent Tower Black is a high-airflow ATX/EATX tower case designed for performance-focused PC builds. Constructed from steel and sized to accommodate ATX, EATX, Micro-ATX and ITX motherboards, the Torrent ships without a PSU and includes two custom 180 x 38 mm Dynamic PWM / Prisma RGB fans. Its new interior layout, large base intakes and extra-large bottom fan support prioritise unrestricted airflow and effective GPU cooling while supporting both air and water-cooling configurations.
Designed for top-tier airflow, the Torrent combines thick 38 mm fan blades and a pre-installed Nexus 9P Slim PWM fan hub to deliver high air-moving capacity at controlled sound levels. The streamlined open interior and expansive base intakes create substantial breathing room for components, improving cooling for large GPUs and radiators. Tool-less tempered glass handling (on TG models), included cable straps and multiple drive brackets simplify installation and cable management.
Install the motherboard according to its form factor and secure the PSU in the designated top-shroud area if applicable. Fit storage into the two 3.5" trays and four 2.5" brackets; attach the included SSD brackets where required. Use the pre-installed Nexus 9P Slim PWM fan hub to connect and control the two 180 mm front fans and additional case fans. For radiators or push–pull configurations, mount compatible units in the front or bottom supports—both locations accept extra-thick radiators up to 420 mm. Follow the included instructions to assemble the GPU support bracket if GPU sag prevention is needed.
For optimal GPU cooling, use the expansive base intakes and the extra-large bottom fan support together with the included 180 mm fans. Choose the optional nylon filters when dust protection is required, or remove them to prioritise maximum airflow. When installing a water loop, ensure radiator thickness and fan orientation are compatible with the front and bottom clearance limits.
