Fan Fractal Design Aspect 12 PWM
The Fractal Design Aspect 12 PWM is a 120 mm case fan designed for computer cooling. It operates at 12 V with a speed range of 500–2000 RPM, delivers up to 95.1 m³/h airflow and uses a rifle bearing for extended durability. The fan features aerodynamic stator struts, Trip Wire technology to improve blade efficiency, and a built-in chain feature to simplify cable management while preserving a minimalistic frame aesthetic.
Aerodynamic stator struts reduce turbulence and noise from airflow while maintaining the slim Aspect frame design. Trip Wire technology creates a micro-turbulent layer to improve blade efficiency. PWM control provides precise speed regulation across a wide RPM range, and the integrated chaining feature helps manage cables when multiple fans are used.
Install the Aspect 12 PWM in a compatible 120 mm fan mounting location in your computer case following standard anti-vibration and airflow orientation practices. Connect the PWM cable to a motherboard or fan controller header that supports PWM for automatic speed control. If using multiple units, use the built-in chain feature to link fans and route cables cleanly before securing the fans with screws or mounts.
For optimal performance, use PWM headers to allow the motherboard or a fan controller to adjust fan speed according to temperature. Position the fans to promote a consistent airflow path through the case (intake at front/bottom, exhaust at rear/top) and avoid obstructing the fan intake with cables or components.
