Case fan Fractal Design Aspect 14 (140 mm) 12V, max 1,000 RPM, 41 CFM, 19.5 dB, black
The Fractal Design Aspect 14 is a 140 mm case fan designed to balance quiet operation and airflow. With a maximum speed of 1000 RPM and a noise level of 19.5 dB at high speed, this black fan provides up to 41 CFM (69.7 m³/h) airflow and a maximum static pressure of 1.02 mmH2O. The Aspect series builds on proven Fractal technologies such as Trip Wire and improved stator struts while adding a minimalistic nozzle frame and built-in chaining support for easier cable management.
The fan's aerodynamic stator struts reduce turbulence and audible noise while maintaining effective cooling performance. Trip Wire Technology creates a micro-turbulent layer that improves blade efficiency. Rifle bearings offer greater efficiency and longer life compared with standard sleeve bearings. The minimalistic Aspect frame delivers a clean aesthetic without sacrificing performance, and the built-in chain feature simplifies powering multiple fans.
Install the Aspect 14 fan in a compatible 140 mm mounting location using the supplied screws or standard fan screws. Connect the fan to a 3- or 4-pin header on the motherboard or to a supported fan controller at 12 V. When chaining multiple Aspect fans, use the built-in chain connectors to link power and simplify cable routing. Ensure airflow orientation matches your desired intake or exhaust configuration.
For quiet operation, mount the fan on low-noise settings or control it via motherboard PWM where available. When combining several fans, stagger speeds to balance airflow and noise. Regularly check and clean the fan blades and stator struts to maintain optimal performance.
The Aspect frame offers aesthetics without compromising performance.
