Electric car charging station Fronius Wattpilot Flex Home 22 C6, Type 2 cable 6 m, 6–32 A, 22 kW, LAN/WLAN, IP66
Fronius Wattpilot Flex Home 22 C6 is a wall-mounted electric car charging station with an integrated 6 m Type 2 cable and selectable charging current from 6 to 32 A, enabling AC charging up to 22 kW. The unit is designed for indoor and outdoor installation with IP66 and IK08 protection ratings and supports LAN and WLAN connectivity, RFID and app-based authentication, and multiple earthing system configurations (TT/TN/IT). Cable entry is possible from the top (indoor only), bottom or back to suit different installation needs.
The charging station offers a broad charging current range for flexible power management, a permanently attached 6 m Type 2 cable for convenient vehicle connection, and robust environmental protection for outdoor use. Built-in network interfaces (LAN/WLAN) and RFID/app authentication provide options for user access control and remote configuration. Compact dimensions and several cable entry points simplify installation in a variety of mounting locations.
This unit does not include an integrated MID-compliant energy meter, so it may not meet requirements where legally calibrated billing of consumed energy is mandatory. The top cable entry option is allowed only for indoor installations, so outdoor sites that require top entry are not appropriate.
Mount the Fronius Wattpilot Flex Home 22 C6 on a vertical surface following local electrical regulations and the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Choose the appropriate cable entry point for your location and connect mains supply to the 5‑pole screw terminal. Configure network settings via LAN or WLAN and register users with RFID tags or the Solar.wattpilot app. Select the desired charging current (6–32 A) according to your electrical installation and vehicle capabilities, then plug the Type 2 connector into the vehicle to start charging.
For safe and reliable operation, have the station installed and commissioned by a qualified electrician, configure network and authentication options before first use, and select a charging current appropriate to your wiring and vehicle. Regularly inspect the cable and connector for damage and avoid exposing the interior of the unit to liquids.
