Power Supply Fortron SP400-AD 350W
The Fortron SP400-AD 350W power supply provides stable 350W output for desktop systems that require a compact, efficient and quietly cooled unit. Designed by fsp/fortron, this PSU integrates a 120mm cooling fan and multiple protection circuits to maintain reliable operation under typical consumer and small-office workloads. The model supports standard ATX power connectors and is suitable for builds where balanced performance and energy efficiency are priorities.
The unit offers continuous 350W power delivery with regulated voltages and built-in protections such as over-voltage protection, over-current protection and short-circuit protection to reduce the risk of component damage. A 120mm fan provides effective airflow while keeping acoustic levels low. Compact dimensions and standard connector set make this PSU compatible with a wide range of ATX and mid-tower enclosures, and the design emphasizes stable output and basic energy efficiency for everyday computing.
Install the power supply into an ATX-compatible case following the case manufacturer’s instructions, align mounting holes and secure the unit with screws. Connect the 24-pin main motherboard connector and the CPU 4+4 pin connector before attaching peripheral and SATA power cables to drives and expansion cards. Ensure cables are routed to promote good airflow and that the PSU fan intake is not obstructed. Verify voltage selector (if present) is set correctly for your region before powering on.
Use the Fortron SP400-AD in systems where the total component power draw remains comfortably below the 350W rating to allow headroom for peak loads. Keep the PSU vents and fan clear of dust, and perform periodic visual inspections of cables and connectors. For systems with higher power demands, choose a higher-rated power supply to ensure safe and long-term operation.
