FSP/Fortron ADVAN GM 1000W is an ATX power supply unit that delivers up to 1000 W of total output with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency. Compliant with the Intel® Power Design Guide ATX 3.1 and equipped with a 20+4 pin ATX motherboard connector, it supports modern systems and power-hungry hardware. The PSU features a single high-amperage +12V rail, LLC resonant-converter topology with synchronous rectifier, +5V and +3.3V DC-to-DC design, and reliable 105°C Japanese bulk capacitors. It has a compact ATX form factor (150 × 140 × 86 mm), active cooling via a 120 mm hydraulic bearing fan and a fully modular cable set in black embossed finish.
The ADVAN GM 1000W provides high efficiency (about 90% at typical load) and 80 PLUS Gold certification to reduce power loss and heat. ATX 3.1 compliance and a PCIe 12V-2x6 compatible cable support up to 200% power excursion and modern graphics cards. The LLC resonant topology with synchronous rectifier and DC-to-DC circuits improve voltage regulation and efficiency under load. An ECO semi-fanless switch enables zero-RPM silent operation below roughly 40% load, while the 120 mm hydraulic bearing fan maintains cooling performance. Fully modular, premium black embossed cables simplify installation and improve airflow.
Install the PSU into a standard ATX case following the motherboard and case manufacturer instructions. Connect the 20+4 pin ATX main cable to the motherboard and use the modular PCIe 6+2 and 12V-2x6 cables as needed for graphics cards and other components. Ensure AC mains are disconnected when wiring. Use the ECO switch on the unit to enable semi-fanless operation for quieter idle use; the fan will remain off under light loads and start as load and temperature increase. Verify all connections are secure before powering on the system.
